1. The service
Everdue helps you track recurring subscriptions and expenses, forecast renewals, schedule on-device reminders, import candidates from CSV you provide, and manage related Premium features such as savings history and advanced discovery tools.
Everdue is a productivity / lifestyle tool from Trimscope. It is not a bank, payment processor, financial adviser, or debt collector. It does not automatically cancel third-party subscriptions on your behalf unless a feature explicitly says so (merchant cancel links open the provider’s own flow).
2. Accounts
- You must provide accurate account information and keep it updated.
- You are responsible for activity under your account.
- You may delete your account from Settings. Deletion is permanent.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the service or violate these terms.
3. Your content
You retain ownership of the subscription data and files you enter. You grant us a limited license to host, sync, and process that data solely to provide the service. Do not upload unlawful content or data you are not allowed to share.
4. Free and paid plans
Free accounts may have limits (for example, a cap on active subscriptions). Premium and other paid plans unlock additional features described in the app.
Mobile App Store purchases
Purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play are billed by Apple or Google under their terms. Payment will be charged to your store account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period (or as required by the store). Manage or cancel in your device’s subscription settings. Restoring purchases is available in the app where applicable.
Web purchases
If you purchase on the web, billing may be handled by Stripe under Stripe’s terms and our checkout flow.
Trials
Soft trials or store introductory offers may grant temporary Premium access. When a trial ends, features revert unless you purchase a paid plan.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer or disrupt the service except as allowed by law
- Attempt to bypass entitlement or security controls
- Use the app to harass, spam, or break applicable law
- Misrepresent that Everdue provides banking or investment advice
6. Third-party services
The app integrates with third parties (for example Clerk, Appwrite, RevenueCat, Apple, Google, Stripe). Their terms and privacy policies apply to their services. Merchant cancellation pages are operated by those merchants, not by us.
7. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not guarantee that reminders will fire in every device state, that import detection is complete or error-free, or that third-party cancel flows will succeed.
8. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR SUBSCRIPTION CHARGES YOU INCUR WITH THIRD PARTIES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE PRIOR 12 MONTHS OR (B) USD $50.
9. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify us against claims arising from your misuse of the service or violation of these terms, except to the extent caused by our willful misconduct.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.
